Michael’s exceptional customer service came across from my first contact with him on the Friday afternoon to enquire about viewing the Mercedes E Class convertible he had for sale. Although a potential buyer had arranged to view the car later that afternoon he promised to call me around 4:30pm to let me know if the car was still available and true to his word he rang around 5pm to say the car was still available and I could view the car that evening. So without hesitation I made arrangements to drive from our home in Leicestershire to Michael’s near Sheffield. On arrival at around 7pm Michael was most welcoming to us and after giving a brief overview left us to look ln and around the car for a good 15 minutes or so which we felt was a nice touch creating a relaxed ‘no pressure’ atmosphere. Michael then rejoined us and we went out for a test drive around the local area. Afterwards Michael then went into detail about the car covering its history and answering my questions regarding known issues with this model with great detail displaying a refreshingly comprehensive knowledge of the marque which was reassuring. Needless to say the car was just as presented in Auto Trader with Michael’s description of its condition totally accurate. We then went inside where Michael produced all documentation relating to the car and its history for me to examine which supported completely what he had told me. The decision (which was not a hard one) was taken and deposit payed during which it slipped out that we were getting married in August and the car was to be our wedding car much to Michael’s delight. The sale was completed within the next few days and we collected the car on the following Thursday evening with Michael preparing Road Tax application etc. As a final gesture he took footage of us pulling away and emailed it to me. All in all I have to say it was probably the most satisfying car purchase I have ever made, the car is excellent in every way and Michael has been in touch to confirm everything is ok and let me know not to hesitate in contacting him should I feel the need to. As a result I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael Birks Specialist Cars Limited when looking to purchase their ideal car.

Whilst browsing auto trader late one Thursday evening, I came across a Mini clubman that stood out because of the great photography accompanied by a detailed description with low mileage, a full years MOT, service, four new tyres, new air con condenser and re-gas, all for a very reasonable price. I messaged through auto trader to ask for a test drive that Saturday and Michael contacted me first thing the following morning to arrange this whilst giving me some information about the car and his deposit scheme, but no pressure to take it out. I received a text after with his postcode and location details. We arrived at a lovely village location where we looked over the car and the surrounding countryside. Michael was instantly approachable and it was a relaxed atmosphere, it was evident Michael is experienced and knowledgeable. After test driving the car, I decided to buy it. I had taken the car I was thinking of part exchanging with its registration documents, so we sat in Michael’s lovely house and organised everything. Michael gave me a competitive price for my car and showed me where he got his figures from on his laptop, he sorted the tax and paperwork while I organised my insurance to drive away in my new car. Michael rang me yesterday to check everything was still ok with the car, great after sales service too…. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Michael, if my experience is anything to go by, you will be in capable hands.
